Vital Apprenticeships

Are you 16-24 years old and living in social housing in Westminster?

Do you want to earn a salary whilst training towards an NVQ qualification?

If so, an apprenticeship might be just the thing for you. An apprenticeship means you are employed, paid and training for an industry standard qualification at the same time - merging study with the real world of work.

Vital Apprenticeships is an advice service that supports you to find, apply and secure the opportunity you want. Whatever your interest or background, our advisors will help you to develop an action plan, enhance your CV, improve your interview skills and assist you throughout your placement.

Opportunities range from Business Administration to Construction and we also help people get into training, volunteering, work placements and jobs - so if you're not ready or not interested in an apprenticeship, we can help you too.

If you register on the project our advisors will:

  • Provide advice and guidance on apprenticeship or work placement opportunities and assist you to make decisions about the right opportunities to take
  • Provide support for the position you are interested in, including CV writing, application form completing and interview skills
  • Give assistance in effective planning, with clear objectives to help you get into an apprenticeship or work placement
  • Act as a broker, finding both the right employer and training provider for your apprenticeship
  • Provide additional support throughout the apprenticeship or work placement
  • Treat you in a professional manner in our face-to-face or telephone sessions
  • Treat all information as confidential

Vital Apprenticeships is run in partnership with City of Westminster Council.
