Artist Jennie Savage worked with young people from local youth clubs and schools between May and June of this year. The teams interviewed local residents, shop keepers, workers and visitors to the road about their lives, shopping habits, food and opinions and knowledge of the history of the area.

She also staged a ‘Clash UP’ along the road on June 2nd, when musicians gathered to perform on the street.

The young people have gone on to be shown around local recording studios (Thank you to Phil at Eastcoates & Nici at Kensal Town) at The City Of Westminster College media department, so they are aware of their study and career options if they wanted to continue with creative recording.
